Texas Success Initiative (TSI)

Requirements and Testing

All public institutions of higher learning in Texas require that incoming students document compliance with TSI, or exemption from it.

Odessa College administers the COMPASS and THEA tests to most students.  Other placement tests that are accepted for TSI purposes are ACCUPLACER and ASSET tests.  Odessa College will accept scores from any of these tests to satisfy TSI requirements.
