What is Service Learning?
Service learning is an opportunity for students and instructors alike to make the academic content of a course come alive in a meaningful way through involvement in the community. Students have the opportunity of earning academic credit based on their service efforts.
How Do I Get Involved in Service Learning Program?
Students should talk with their course instructor or check out the participating organizations that offer volunteer opportunities. Students may also get involved through VolunteerMatch.org.
Community organizations may communicate directly with a faculty member offering Service Learning or contact the Service Learning Coordinator.
