The General Child Care and Development: Center Based Program and the California State Preschool Program provide quality education and care settings for the children of eligible families. Families are enrolled from the Centralized Eligibility List (CEL) based upon most eligible first. This state-funded program offers full-day or part-day developmentally appropriate preschool instruction for eligible three- and four-year-old children. Riverside County Office of Education directly operates CSPP sites through the Early Childhood Education Programs Unit. The Children’s Services Unit provides funding and monitoring to CSPP sites located at centers operated by:
