Instructional Services' teams are state-approved District Assistance and Intervention Team (DAIT) providers, certified to provide intervention and support services to California’s state-monitored schools.
As an approved DAIT provider, IS members will adhere to state requirements for completing the mandated evaluation, support, and monitoring functions with a focus on meeting the state’s definition of significant growth to successfully exit the DAIT program. These functions include the following:
- Evaluation of instructional program based on the Academic Program Survey (APS) findings.
- Report of Findings and Corrective Actions.
- Monitoring of progress in implementing the corrective actions related to the nine Essential Program Components (EPCs).
- Principal Coaching.
- Working with the school leadership team to successfully implement the Corrective Actions.
- Working with content coaches to help support teachers.
- Provide complete data support that includes, data teams training, and state-level school reports.
- Submit DAIT progress reports to the state.
