Marx Library is home to the Mary Elizabeth and Charles Bernard Rodning Gallery of Art, located on the library's third floor. This bright, open area with ample wall space for art exhibits also features twelve modern display cases for the exhibition of jewelry, crafts, small works of art, sculpture, or other objects. Marx Library also exhibits works of art in a gallery located in the hallway near the circulation desk and Starbucks on the first floor. Watercolors, oils, acrylics, quilts, etchings, engravings, and multi-media are featured year-round in the galleries. The galleries are open and free to the public (see Marx Library's website for hours). Throughout the library, many gifts of art and images from the Doy Leale McCall Rare Book and Manuscript Library are on display year-round as well.
