College of Nursing Undergraduate Advising

TRANSFER or PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS:

Thank you for your interest in our program. You have two options for advising
1.QUICKEST RESULTS - fax copy of unofficial transcript (not a degree audit) from each institution that you have attended along with your mailing address to the attention of Academic Advisor for Undergraduate Nursing at 251-445-9416. A letter with an evaluation should be sent by mail within 7 – 10 days after receipt of your fax. OR
2. Schedule an advising appointment . The advisor is located at the USA College of Nursing (see above). Bring the following to your meeting:

• Copies of unofficial transcripts (not a degree audit) from every institution ever attended.
• If available, copies of any past evaluations done by the USA College of Nursing advisor.
• Check out Nursing FAQs and bring a list of questions that you want answered.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA STUDENTS:

SCHEDULE AN ADVISING APPOINTMENTduring at least the first semester of attendance at USA to ensure correct prerequisites are taken. During this meeting a plan of course study will be developed for the student. Once this is completed, most advising questions can be answered by emailing mjarrell@usouthal.edu.
