JagNet is the authentication system used to access many University systems, including JagMail (@southalabama.edu and @jagmail.southalabama.edu email), USAOnline (Sakai), and the Single Sign On (SSO) portal.
JagNet is NOT used for @health.southalabama.edu email, nor the University's Active Directory (USADIR) system.
All students, faculty, and staff are assigned JagNet accounts.
JagMail is the University-branded G Suite for Education system, provided by Google. It includes Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Sites. Students are assigned accounts in the @jagmail.southalabama.edu domain; @southalabama.edu is the faculty and staff domain in JagMail. USA Health System employees (@health) do not use JagMail.
Most systems use your University J Number (aka Jag Number), but some will use the username portion of your email address or even your full email address. Your JagNet password is the same regardless of which form is used.
If you currently can log into USAonline (Sakai) or can log into an @email@example.com email account, you are already using your JagNet password.
If not, you can recover your password using one of the links above.
For email, calendars, maps and more.
You are using a dynamic assistive view of the University of South Alabama site. It has all the same data and features of the original site but formatted just with assistive users in mind. It has links and content reorganized to aid assistive users and has controls at the bottom under assistive options that allow you to control key aspects such as font size and contrast colors etc.
This is not a separate text-only site, it's a dynamic view that uses unique technology from Usablenet to give assistive users better, more accessible access to the same content and features as all users that use the graphic view of the site.
