Canto is a creative arts magazine featuring poetry, short fiction, prose and visual art by Kent State University at Stark students.
We welcome all currently registered Kent State Stark students to participate as contributors, as staff members, or both.
Mission
The purpose of this organization is to encourage student participation in literature and art at Kent State University at Stark; to provide a venue for publishing students’ creative work; and to provide education and training in editorial and publishing processes for the Canto staff. Canto is published annually, during the spring semester, and is funded by the Office of Academic Affairs.
