Art Degrees & Majors
Students can complete the B.A. in Fine Arts* at Kent State Stark. Other art majors and concentrations will be completed at the Kent Campus.
Bachelor of Arts in Crafts or Fine Arts*
The Bachelor of Arts in crafts or fine arts is for students who do not necessarily wish to pursue art as a profession but desire a solid foundation and breadth in the visual arts within a liberal arts curriculum.
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Arts
Areas of studio art concentration include painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. This concentration can be completed at Kent State Stark.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Crafts
Concentrated study is available in each of the following areas: ceramics, enameling, glass, jewelry/metals or fiber art.

Bachelor of Arts
The program includes Ohio Licensure for the teaching of art in grades pre-kindergarten through adult. Certification is also available as an additional curriculum in the B.F.A. program.
This program provides a liberal education in the history of the arts and prepares the student for advanced study in the discipline or work in a museum context.
