Clinical experiences are an integral part of the nursing education program. Through these experiences, students gain real-life experiences in a variety of patient care settings and with culturally diverse populations.
The human dimensions of nursing are enhanced through nurse-patient interactions which may include therapeutic communication, teaching, counseling, and advocacy. Students can enhance their performance of basic nursing procedures, organization and priority-setting skills, time management, and decision-making.
