Scholarship Announcements
The following scholarships are available to Kent State Stark students.
Quota International of Canton Scholarship
- Amount: $1,000
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Available to entering freshmen, sophomores, juniors or seniors
- Must be enrolled and majoring in the field of speech-language pathology, audiology or deaf
- Applicants can also be hearing impaired, majoring in any field
- Legal resident of Stark County
- Application: Pick up in the Office of Student Services
- Deadline: April 26
LifeShare Scholarship
- Amount: Varies
- Must be an undergraduate student, minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at Kent State, minimum 6 hours completed at Kent State Stark at end of Spring 2013, registered at least half-time (6 hours) at Kent State Stark for Fall 2013; active involvement in ongoing community service
- Application: Pick up in the Office of Student Services; contact Kurt Drotleff
- Deadline: April 30
MassMutual Scholars
- Amount: $2,500 or 5,000
- Available to sophomores, juniors and seniors
- Must be African American, Asian/Pacific Islander or Hispanic descent
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Full-time enrollment
- FAFSA required
- Preference given to students pursuing a career interest in the insurance or financial services field

- Deadline May 3
Stark County Retired Teachers' Association
- Amount: $1,200
- Must be a graduate of a Stark County high school
- Must be a junior, senior or 5th year undergraduate in the field of education
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Pick up application in the Office of Student Services
- Deadline: May 20
