This intense, total body workout combines aerobics, cardiovascular fitness, and body toning while learning great self-defense and kickboxing techniques. Various kickboxing aides and equipment will be used to develop strength, agility, endurance, balance and coordination.
Cycling will cover the knowledge and skills that are needed for an understanding and participation in an indoor cycling program. This exciting athletic training program utilizes motivation and mental training techniques to build cardiac respiratory endurance and muscular techniques.
Dance courses engage the whole person - mind, body and spirit. Dancing is a form of expression - in time and in movement. It offers each person an opportunity for personal growth and discovery.
Hard Core Abs
Get the rock hard abs you've always dreamed of with this challenging, core-strengthening class.
Hip Hop Dance
Students will learn the fundamentals of Studio Hip Hop Dance. Classes will stress correct placement and execution of hip hop exercises on the floor and in the center, along with a basic dance vocabulary.
Teaches students basic self defense and martial arts skills. You will learn the mental and physical benefits associated with kung fu.
Combines high-energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow students to learn a variety of moves from the Latin culture.
Provides students with the basic information for developing a wellness lifestyle and understanding the role of exercise in enhancing physical fitness. The course will examine today’s health and fitness issues and present contemporary approaches to maintain good health and well-being.
Students in this class will learn fundamental skills and begin to develop knowledge involved in the use of Nautilus equipment for fitness development. This class is for men and women who want to improve their muscular strength, endurance, muscle tone and lean body mass. Students will acquire the skills to develop a weight training program for life.
Pilates: Mat & Ball
Pilates uses elements of dance, yoga and gymnastics to develop exercises that strengthen the torso, correct muscle imbalances, and aid in proper spinal alignment. These exercises work the entire body, rather than one muscle at a time.

Set your goal to move to a higher level of physical fitness by developing power, speed, strength and agility. Sport conditioning offers a high energy workout involving interval training and plyometrics for athletes and non-athletes alike.
Tai Chi, the ancient Chinese teaching of living in harmony with nature, is a system of meditation, physical coordination and health. The practice of Tai Chi reconnects the mind to the body, eliminating tension and anxiety, promoting health, and improving balance using slow, controlled, gentle movements.
Train Like a Dancer
This class is designed as an intense training course that will help students improve their dancing techniques. The class begins with a focus on basic ballet technique, which will help students understand and train the necessary muscle groups that professional dancers use. Then the focus of the course shifts to cross-training like a professional dancer. Students will learn intense combinations of aerobic and weight routines that will help them transform their bodies.
Yoga: Beginning & Intermediate
Yoga releases tension and discomfort from the body, quiets and calms the mind and connects us with a deep stillness inside. Yoga also develops focus and steadies the mind in the present moment. Deep breathing is an integral part of yoga, which soothes the nervous system and reduces stress.
Courses offered off-campus:Bowling
Helps students to develop the skills and mechanics of bowling. Students will develop the use of bowling terminology and proper etiquette and gain the ability to apply rules and regulations to game situations. Class meets off-campus at Colonial Lanes.
Golf: Beginning & Intermediate
The golf classes are designed to improve a student's skill and knowledge of the golf swing as well as introducing them to the rules so that they can appreciate the game. Classes will are held off-campus at Rain Tree Golf Course. Students must have their own clubs.
Swimming: Beginning & Intermediate
Teaches students the basics of swimming at the beginning and intermediate levels. Classes are taught off-campus at the Green YMCA.
