The Kent State Stark Bookstore is located in the Campus Center. Here you will find all of the textbooks and supplies required for your classes at Kent State Stark. In addition to texts and supplies, the Bookstore carries an attractive selection of Kent State clothing, logo merchandise and more!

IMAGE: Reusable Cup Program
Reusable Cups are Back!
Students can now "save green" when they "go green" with Kent State University at Stark's new reusable cup program. The special cups, which are double-wall insulated, BPA-free and microwave and dishwasher safe, are for sale in the Bookstore for just $5.99. When used in the Emporium, soft drink refills are just $1.00 and coffee refills just $1.25. Plus, the first fill-up is free (coupon inside cup). The program helps eliminate waste caused by disposable cups and contributes to the campus's overall goals towards improved sustainability. Also, the Emporium is now using enviroware™. enviroware™ products contain an average of 21.8% pre-consumer recycled materials and 100% recycled Carbon Dioxide (CO2) making them green at the beginning and end of their lifecycle or more simply 2 times green.

Receive a Tax Credit for Hitting the Books
Attention Students and Parents! Course materials now qualify for a tax credit. Save your course material receipts! You may be eligible for a tax credit up to $2,500!

Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act's (ARRA) newly created American Opportunity Tax Credit, textbook and other course material expenses - along with tuition and fees incurred in 2010 not covered by scholarships or grants - may be claimed as a tax credit on that year's tax return. You must keep a record of your expenses to be eligible! This tax credit is good through 2012.
