Women Veterans Information
Thank you for your service as a member of the United States Armed Forces. The appreciation of a grateful nation is expressed, in large part, by the many benefits and services that are identified on the web sites of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
Information contained on the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs site is applicable to all Veterans and makes no distinction between men and women. Should you desire information on any benefit or service provided to Veterans by New Jersey such as Civil Service Veterans Preference; Property Tax Deduction or Exemption; admission to a Veterans Long-Term Care facility; or burial in the State Veterans Cemetery you will find it on this site.
Information contained on the United States Department of Veterans Affairs site similarly applies, to a great extent, to all Veterans. However, Women Veterans require care and services that are unique to the female gender and they have developed a web site that specifically addresses those needs.
For information regarding benefits, care and services that include those based upon unique needs you are encouraged to visit the Center for Women Veterans web site by clicking on the following link: www.va.gov/womenvet/.
Again, your service to this nation as a member of the military is greatly appreciated.

You are using a dynamic assistive view of the State of New Jersey Civil Service Commission site. It has all the same data and features of the original site but formatted just with assistive users in mind. It has links and content reorganized to aid assistive users and has controls at the bottom under assistive options that allow you to control key aspects such as font size and contrast colors etc.
This is not a separate text-only site, it's a dynamic view that uses unique technology from Usablenet to give assistive users better, more accessible access to the same content and features as all users that use the graphic view of the site.
