U.S. SBA grants a State Trade Expansion Program Award to the NJ Department of State’s Business Action Center
The Lt. Governor visits with NJ STEP award recipients

On September 14th, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) granted a State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) Award to the New Jersey Department of State’s Business Action Center (BAC). The award is $606,151, and, for the second year in a row, is one of the top ten awards presented by the SBA.

The STEP program is a financial resource for qualifying New Jersey small businesses to start, build, or grow their export sales, as well as develop access to international markets previously out of reach.
