Interpreter Services

  • Schedules interpreters for classroom and other academic activities
  • Serves as a a liaison with community services supporting individual students
  • Provides assistance in obtaining documentation of disability

Disabilities Services provides interpreting or C-Print for scheduled classes, labs and other college events or academic activities. If you require interpreting services please, contact your campus Educational Accessibility Counselor/Provider. See the Handbook for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing for more information.

Disabilities Services needs 30 days prior to the start of each semester to assign interpreters.

Note: Each TCC campus has a video phone for use by deaf, hard-of-hearing or speech impaired students. To contact TCC Office of Educational Accessibility, please contact Virginia Relay by dialing 711.
