On behalf of the faculty and staff at the College of Education, I would like to welcome you to our website and thank you for visiting.  I am confident that you will find the college to be an outstanding choice.

For over 100 years the College of Education has been engaged in educating student for careers in teaching, educational leadership and counseling and psychology.

As you explore our website you will find that the College of Education at Troy University offers certification as well as non-certification degree options at each of our four Alabama campuses.  It is our mission to prepare educators, counselors, administrators, and other professionals to be life-long innovative learners, who are informed, reflective decision makers effectively trained to achieve the goals, competencies, and skills identified by the accrediting and professional organizations for each program.

Troy University takes great pride in working to improve teaching and learning, both within the state of Alabama and at the regional and national levels. The outstanding faculty in the College are leaders in their areas of study, and we are proud to have such a resource for our students. While our charge is academic achievement, we also pride ourselves as having a friendly and encouraging environment that we feel motivates our students and facilitates the learning process.
