Troy University Community Band of Dothan to Present Free Heritage Week Concert
DOTHAN – Troy University kicks off its annual Heritage Week celebration Monday, April 17, with a free concert on the Dothan Campus. The Troy University Community Band of Dothan will perform in Sony Hall beginning at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
The band, which is made up of musicians of all ages, will play a medley of Frank Sinatra tunes called “Old Blue Eyes” and a rendition of “America the Beautiful,” along with a number of other recognizable American favorites.
As part of the University’s Heritage Week celebration, which is scheduled for April 17 through 21, the Dothan Campus will also host a health and wellness fair, a reception honoring Dothan Campus retirees, the annual John Woodham Memorial Lecture Series, the Spring Picnic and the Spring Honors Convocation.
