Troy University Public Radio announces special Black History Month 2006 programs

TROY – Troy University’s public radio stations WTSU, WRWA and WTJB has announced a new schedule of special programs in observance of Black History Month 2006. They will begin airing Saturday, Feb. 4.

“Throughout the year, our programming lineup covers the culture, concerns, and strengths that are unique to African Americans,” said Program Manager Fred Azbell, “but in the coming weeks, we're proud to focus even more intently on the triumphs and challenges of black America. This special programming contributes greatly to the acknowledgement and celebration of a people who helped make America all that it is today.”
