Troy University Welcomes Area School Superintendents to the Dothan Campus

During a recent appreciation luncheon at Troy University, Dr. Jack Hawkins (second from left), chancellor of Troy University, and Dr. Mike Rippy (right), TROY assistant professor, greet area school superintendents Dr. Beverly McAnulty, of Andalusia City Schools, and David Snell, of Geneva County Schools. The school districts are among 17 in the region, which open their classrooms to TROY education majors taking part in school administration internships.

Troy University Interim Dothan Campus Vice Chancellor Bob Willis (left) welcomes Enterprise City Schools Elementary Supervisor Brenda Weakley and Superintendent Dr. Jim Reese to a recent appreciation luncheon on the Dothan Campus. Superintendents from all over the Wiregrass attended the event. Guest Speaker Dr. Susan Lockwood (not pictured), executive director of the School Superintendents of Alabama, discussed new directions for the preparation of school leaders in the state.
