Troy University to Offer Stress Management Workshop
DOTHAN – Learn to cope with stress. The Troy University Continuing Education Center will hold a Stress Management Workshop on the Dothan Campus June 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Chronic stress can have a negative impact on nearly every part of the human body, according to Dr. Habiba Shaw. It can even shave years off your life. During the workshop, Shaw will share techniques to help participants more effectively deal with daily pressures and life crises.
Nurses (RN/LPN), social workers, dietary personnel, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, extension agents, health educators, occupational therapists, medical assistants (AAMA), physical therapists, nursing home administrators, assisted living administrators and concerned individuals are encouraged to attend. Seminar participants will be eligible to receive Healthcare CEU’s.
