Troy University Students Promote Reading
DOTHAN – During the recent Reading Festival at Landmark Park, Troy University special education major Jennifer Robbins (center) of Dothan shares a story with sisters Emily (left) and Erin Wilson of Chancellor. To encourage reading, Troy University students hosted a hayride around the park.
As part of Dothan/Houston County Reading Week, Troy University elementary education major Kay Holland of Dothan reads a book with 7-year-old Mykaliah Bryant of Dothan. Holland and other Dothan Campus students spent a recent Saturday at Landmark Park sharing their love of books.
Cooper Mims of Kinsey takes area children on a hayride during the Reading Festival at Landmark Park. Troy University education majors sponsored the hayride to promote reading.
