Commencement and board of trustees

Summer commencement is Friday

JULY 25: Former Andalusia mayor and Troy University alumnus Earl Johnson will provide the commencement address at his alma mater July 25. Some 275 students from 13 states and 10 foreign countries will take part in commencement exercises at 10:30 a.m. in Sartain Hall.

Members of the media covering the event are asked to be in place no later than 10:15 a.m. Reserved media seating will be available along the scorer’s table. For any special coverage requirements please contact the University Relations office.

Board of Trustees

JULY 25, 1 p.m.: The Troy University Board of Trustees will meet at 1 p.m. in the third floor conference room of the General Academic Building (Room 330). Trustees will consider one resolution regarding the 2008-2009 University budget and hear a variety of reports from the administration.
