We live in a changing world. The people of the world must understand each other, for it is through understanding that appreciation develops. The global economy which has been brought on by increased technology and a coming together of the world’s people requires that students, once they graduate, no longer be just competitive with students from nearby states but they must be competitive on a global scale. It’s for that purpose that Troy University has embraced globalization -- for the bottom line must be that all of our students must be competitive at a very high level. That’s why I think it’s so important that we’ve been able to partner with so many institutions throughout China.
