We are thrilled that Forbes Magazine has ranked Troy University the top public or private university in the state. Beyond that we also take great pride that Forbes ranked TROY the 16th institution nationally on its Best College Buys list. In the aggregrate, those rankings reflect the fact that TROY is a quality driven, high-touch, high-tech environment where the students are known by name not by number. It’s one of the safest environments in this country but it’s also international in scope and so, in the aggregate, I think Alabama and indeed those who are involved with Troy University – its students, staff, faculty and alumni -- can be thrilled that today is great day of celebration in that the rest of the world now knows what we have known for many years.
