Along with providing documentation, you must schedule an appointment with the Student Disability Services professional on your campuses. At this meeting, you officially register with SDS and sign forms authorizing services. The university cannot provide services until you meet with and we officially register you with SDS. Appropriate and reasonable accommodations are based on your individual needs, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
The services and accommodations you receive are based upon specific information provided in your documentation. These services might not always be the same as those provided in public school or at another educational institution. Accommodations are determined at your campuses to provide you with accessibility to campuses facilities, academic programs, and classroom and instructional activities.
