Advising

Regular meetings with an academic advisor will assist you in choosing courses, designing a manageable schedule, meeting your degree requirements and expediting your degree completion. Advisors can also help you in deciding on a major and by providing suggestions and referrals if you are having trouble in a class. Academic advisors are prepared to help you make the most of your educational experience and reach your goals in the most successful and timely manner.

All freshmen and sophomore students admitted for Summer or Fall 2012 and beyond are required to meet with an advisor once per semester.  Students at junior standing and beyond will be required to meet at least once per year.

·         Freshman            1-29      earned hours

·         Sophomore        30-59     earned hours

·         Junior                   60-89    earned hours
