Each semester, orientation events are held for new students. Generally, these sessions last one to three hours and are held one to three weeks before classes begin. As a new student, you should receive an invitation by mail. Typically, the orientation programs include a campus tour, information about buying books/bookstore policies, information about campus clubs and activities, and an open forum for asking questions. Your parents and/or spouse are welcome to attend the orientation program with you.
