About Us

The Health Administration Case Competition is deisgned to provide graduate students from CAHME-accrediated programs an opportunity to translate their classroom knowledge into practice with a real-life, real-time case from an actual health organization.  It is intended to be a capstone experience for the health administration graduate student as they are nearing completion of their degree. Student teams from around the country come to Birmingham, Alabama, to present their recommendations before a national team of judges.

The Health Administration Case Competition is organized by the Department of Health Services Administration at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and is generously sponsored by the UAB Health System.
