EAG - Plant Maintenance (PM) Information
PM provides support for the data and software used by the Facilities units as it relates to work requests, building and equipment maintenance, and preventative maintenance. This is accomplished through the use of work orders to accurately capture costs and as well as workflow to automate processes which integrate with the other SAP modules.
- Supports UK Facilities Staff in their mission of managing the work performed on campus buildings and equipment.
- Supports the tracking of costs associated with work orders generated for campus repairs, preventative maintenance, and renovations.
Plant Maintenance went live on May 7, 2007. The departments of Auxiliary Services (including Housing) and Physical Plant (both Campus and Medical Center Divisions) use Plant Maintenance to support facility management and operations.
