HARVEY GOLDMAN: Biography

Harvey Goldman received his BFA from the University of Illinois and his MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He teaches digital media in the Design Department at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he currently holds the position of Chancellor Professor of Design.

He has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, The Ford Foundation and the Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities. Goldman's work is included in numerous private and public collections. His work has been exhibited widely throughout the US as well as Amsterdam, Austria, Australia, Britian, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, South Africa, and Turkey.

Goldman teaches courses in digital 2D animation, 3D modeling and 3D animation. His research and work encompasses digital imaging for print, 3D modeling, 3D Animation, Visual Music and Scientific Visualization.
