Juli Parker
Director
Since 1995, Juli Parker has been the Director of the Women's Resource Center, now the Center for Women, Gender and Sexuality and Affiliate Faculty for the Women's Studies Program at UMass Dartmouth. She has a BA in Theatre/Dance from the University of Maine and an MA in Women's Studies from the University of Alabama. She received her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences with a focus on Theatre and Women's Studies from the Union Institute & University in 2006. In July 2011 she became a Certified Yoga Teacher. She lives in Swansea, MA with her bluetick coonhound, her bernese mountain dog, two cats and her partner of almost 19 years. In her free time she likes to act and direct at local theatres.
Michele "Mitch" Berube
Mitch joined the Center this spring after more than 14 years at the UMass Dartmouth Human Resources office. Once upon a time she worked at UMass Amherst in their Honors Program – now a College – and is very happy to be back among students. She lives in Fall River with her partner of 24 years and 3 cats.

Kendra Pereira
Kendra Pereira is a senior Women's Studies and Art History major. This is her sixth year here at the center and she is very excited about the new space and name! An active student on campus, she is the Treasurer of the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance, a member of Pride Alliance, as well as the Donald C. Howard Leadership Program and Sigma Alpha Pi, which is the National Society of Leadership and Success. She is also a sister of Iota Delta Nu Sorority. She is currently Senior Staff Coordinator at the Center for Women, Gender & Sexuality as well as working in Student Affairs as the first ever Commuter Assistant.
Amanda Porter
Amanda is a Jr. Human Resource Management major. This is her second year working at the center and is in charge of running and maintaining the CWGS website!
Rola Hassoun
Rola is a Civil & Environmental Engineering Major. She is interested in the water crisis and its issues. Millions of women are prohibited from accomplishing little more than survival because they are spending countless hours daily collecting water from distant polluted sources. The water crisis is a womens crisis and that is why it is important to her to work at the CWGS.
Greg Allen
Gregory Allen is a Senior majoring in English and Philosophy, and has an associates degree in Liberal Arts. He has worked at the Center for Women, Gender and Sexuality for two years as their staff writer. He has published work in the UMass Dartmouth Torch newspaper, as well as well as a film reviews for "Prevailing Wind Literary Journal".
Natalie Allen
Natalie is a sophomore in the Liberal Arts Program. Children, sexual health and equality are important to her. She wants to make sure that any of her future children no matter what race, gender and sexual orientation have the same opportunities as a white male. This is her second year working at the Center for Women, Gender and Sexuality.
Mandy Fraser
Program Coordinator
Mandy is a UMD CVPA alumnae with a BFA in Illustration 2002 and BFA in Painting 2002. Mandy was involved with the then titled Women’s Resource Center as well as a member of Pride Alliance during her time here as a student. She lives in Boston, MA and also works with women in early recovery from substance abuse.
Michelle Wright
Graduate Assistant - MVP Program
Michelle is a graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Assumption College. She looks forward to helping the MVP Program grow.
Charris Spadafora
Charris is a junior in Crime and Justice Studies. This is her second year at Umass Dartmouth. She is a transfer student from Unity College in Maine where she was discriminated against for her gender, major, and sexuality. She came to UMD to be part of a judgement free community. She started the Gay/Straight Alliance in her High School. Her goals are to advocate for equal rights for gender, and sexuality, as well as Lupus awareness.
