Kevin Walsh's three run home run in the top of the eighth lifted the Corsairs to a 6-5 non-conference victory over Springfield College on March 28. The victory snapped UMass Dartmouth's five-game losing streak and improved the Corsairs' record to 5-8 overall. Kyle Darrow pitched 1 1/3 innings in relief of starter Butch Langton to pick up the victory. Jason Daley pitched the final 1 2/3 innings to pick up his first save of the season.
