Department: Student of Biology and French

Title: Student, not glorious, but plain and true! Current Green Navigator, otherwise, a freelance activist

Projects: Organized the Campus-Clean-up in 2007, Worked on the Green-roof project in the summer of 2008

Research Interests: The ecosystem effects of pollution, bio-remediation, social interactions with the natural world

Related Courses: Biology curriculum

Involvement in Sustainability: When I arrived on campus, the only recycling programs were that of ink cartridges and paper. Even at that, those two things were only limited to some academic buildings. I made it a point to improve that before I graduated from UMD. My other involvements branched out once I entered the sustainability network on campus.
