Supporting Victims and Survivors of Crime, Violence and Abuse
Quote from USF student/employee
Virtually every victim of violence or abuse will experience predictable emotions and behaviors in the aftermath of victimization. Competent, sensitive assistance to victims is instrumental in alleviating or preventing the effects of an intensely painful experience.
The Advocacy Program will assist any member of the USF community who is a victim of violence, or is experiencing abuse or trauma. The program is staffed by professionally certified victim services practitioners who provide free and confidential services to the community as needed. The primary goal of the program is to work with the victim to achieve full recovery from the hurtful experience.
