Current Topics in Teaching and Learning Webinars
This year the Office of Professional Development will host a new program called the Current Topics in Teaching and Learning Webinars. For a one-hour investment a month (plus a little more for pre-reading time), you can enhance your teaching practice!
Session Details
Each session will focus on the Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education (AAHE, Chickering) and will be co-facilitated by leading instructors throughout the VCCS and Nan Ottenritter, Director of Professional Development.
The format of each session will have an introduction, a brief teaching session on the principle, questions and answers, group summary, and an evaluation.
All webinars will be conducted using Cisco WebExTM. To familiarize yourself with this software, please click here. You may also view the video tutorials How Do I Join a Meeting? and How To Use WebEx Audio.
Recorded webinars will be available by the following Monday and can be found in the table below under the "Session Topic" column. You can listen to audio in a WebEx Recording Format (.wrf) file, if your computer has the following:
