• Freshman - A student enrolled in high school or attends college while in high school.       
• Transfer – A student who has attended a 2-year or 4-year college or university after completing high school.  
• Second Degree – A student seeking a second baccalaureate degree. Report to the Graduate Studies Building on Fourth Ave for more information. 
• Graduate – A student who has completed a bachelor's degree.
• International – A student seeking a VSU degree who is a not a citizen of the United States of America. 
• Continuation Education/Non-Degree – Student enrolled in a Certificate Programs or Non-Credit Courses.
