MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of the VSU Department of Police and Public Safety (DPPS) is to facilitate the overall safety and security of VSU students, staff, faculty, and visitors; and, to promote effective safety/security oriented programs and procedures.
The department will provide professional, and contemporary police services that emphasize community involvement and educational initiatives.
