Currently, the Woods Apartments are lacking social spaces, areas for group activities, and traditional resident housing amenities. The university has recognized this need, and is in the process of purchasing property adjacent to freshman student housing to construct a facility that will enhance the student life experience for residents. The primary spaces will include: multi-purpose gathering, a food venue and offices for the department Residence Services staff.
