S.M.A.R.T. is a student-managed/faculty supported program designed to serve the academic and emotional needs of all pre-nursing and nursing students through mentoring, education, and resources.
GOALS of the program:
Promote student accountability and self-responsibility for their academic growth and development
Encourage peer mentoring relationships through the sharing of resources and skills
Enhancing student appreciation of diverse cultures, opinions, and beliefs
Facilitate the dissemination of information about College of Nursing and Health activities
Promote alumni and underrepresented student involvement in the College of Nursing and Health
Improve Student Networking

Tutoring
Support Groups/ Buddy System to meet diverse student interests and needs
Able to purchase former copies of physiology and biophysics, pharmacology, and nutrition exams as well as former copies of nursing process papers
Assistance with class scheduling
Assistance with understanding course requirements
Able to sign out nursing texts
Information on available Wright State University resources

OPERATED FOR STUDENTS BY STUDENTS!
Students are able to volunteer to work in the S.M.A.R.T. Office or can apply for two part-time paid positions for each track.
Any student can run for office of any position in the S.M.A.R.T. Office.
Terms are for one calendar year or until graduation from the College of Nursing and Health whichever comes first. Resignation of an officer may also end his/her term.
