Wright State offers a variety of scholarships for new, continuing, transfer and adult students. Learn more→

The University College is the college within Wright State University that helps adult non-traditional students transition successfully to college and into appropriate majors in one of Wright State’s discipline-specific colleges.

We offer a variety of services to assist our adult non-traditional students:

  • Academic advising through the Academic Advising and Transfer Services (AATS) and Developmental Education offices;
  • Preparatory courses in English, and Math;
  • A comprehensive First-Year Experience, including First Weekend;
  • Learning Communities;
  • Scholarship opportunities;
  • Learning assistance through the Student Academic Success Centers;
  • A University College Council;
  • Resources for undecided students; and
  • A comprehensive WSU Resource Guide and Things to Do list.
  • First year curriculum guides to help students move into the appropriate major in a timely fashion. The guides include information about specific entrance requirements to the major (including grade point average, specific course requirements, credit hour requirements, etc).
