How to Use the Library

The CCNY Libraries are part of the educational experience shared by all City College students. The libraries are also a resource for our faculty and staff. There are several different Libraries on the CCNY campus. Each of these Libraries has their own unique materials, learning tools and resources.

The largest campus library, the Morris Raphael Cohen Library, located in the NAC Building(North Academic Center) has special sections for Archives and Special Collections, Government Publications and a Reference Division.

The Architecture Library and Architecture Slide Library are located in the School of Architecture.

The Art Slide Library is in the Art Department in Compton Goethals Hall. There are also libraries with other areas of specialization they include the Dominican Institute Library, Music Library and Science/Engineering Library which are all on the CCNY campus.

All libraries have posted schedules and have faculty and staff to guide you in accessing you’re the materials and help you need. You can also ask question by clicking our
Ask a Librarian links located throughout our website.
