Naming Your Gift

Leave Your Legacy

The City College of New York offers a wide range of funding opportunities.  You may choose to support general areas such as students, faculty or facilities, or choose to enhance programs in any of our schools – the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Grove School of Engineering, the School of Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, the School of Education, the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, and other centers or programs.

Scholarships, Internships and Fellowships

Student support funds can open a world of opportunity.   They reward both proven achievers and students with great promise, enable students with financial need to pursue their desired careers, and fund career-related internships that make it possible for students to reduce or eliminate work in unrelated jobs.

Professors and Research

Funding a Professorship, Chair, junior faculty member, visiting professor or faculty research allows City College to recruit and retain the best renowned and most promising faculty members.  This in turn, helps to attract stellar students and the cycle of CCNY excellence continues.

Facilities and Student Life

CCNY’s 100- year-old-campus is steeped in rich architectural tradition and accented with modern innovation and technologies.  Rich memories are found in the Great Hall in Shepard Hall, while medical advances make history in the research labs.  Unique to the New York metropolitan area, City College provides its students with a full campus complete with a grassy quadrangle with benches for studying and eating lunch, fields for pick-up games of football and generous indoor space for club gatherings. Gifts can support any of the above areas, in addition to classrooms, studios, athletic and fitness facilities, computer labs and networking access, conference rooms, performance spaces and art galleries.
