He is the PI for the Dominican Republic Project at City College and runs the biology education program in the School of Education. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California-Berkeley.
Research Topic(s) Summary:
Marine benthic Biodiversity patterns through time in the Neogene of the Dominican Republic.
Description of Research:
The evolution and development of marine mollusks, patterns and processes of marine biodiversity change in the Dominican Republic, and the interrelationships between species-level and community-level evolution in the fossil record. Much of his field research takes place in the Dominican Republic. Check his personal page.
