To be completed before 60 credits (before the end of your junior year):
At least 3 Perspective courses, at least one of which is from the Natural Sciences.
The courses listed in the different Perspectives areas include requirements that will help you develop writing, research, and quantitative skills. By the end of your college years, you will have taken one course in each perspective area. The list of courses that qualify for each perspective changes from semester to semester - be sure to look at our
checklist to see what new alternatives you can choose from!

US Society
Global History and Culture
Self and Society
Artistic
Literary
Logical/Philosophical
Science (2) (One with an interactive component)
Note: Make sure to check the Class Schedule for an up-to-date listing of which Perspectives are being offered this semester.
Continue taking courses in the perspective areas until you have one course in each area, and two courses in the Natural Sciences, one of which has significant interactive experiences.
Then, you need to take one advanced course in a department outside your major.
