AccessAbility Center

The AccessAbility Center coordinates reasonable accommodations which are adjustments to policy, practice and programs that "level the playing field" and allow students to demonstrate their knowledge or perform without the interference of their disability. Accommodations are individualized and determined on a case-by-case basis and may include testing accommodations such as extended time and the ability to take exams in a reduced distraction environment; peer note-taking services; permission to record lectures; printed materials in an alternate format such as large print, electronic, or Braille; assistive technology, and sign language interpreting and speech-to-text services.
