AccessAbility Center
Events and Resources
The AccessAbility Center offers a variety of events both for students registered with AAC and for the City College community. During the Fall and Spring semesters AAC offers "Pizza Wednesdays" from noon-1:30. Free pizza is served to all students that are registered with AAC. Students are offered a safe space to meet other students with disabilities, network, and become familiar with the AAC staff.
Students also have the opportunity to get involved with the Access Futures Club, which is a member organization of the CUNY Coalition for Students with Disabilities (CCSD).
We also offer a number of workshops each semester for students registered with The AccessAbility Center. Topics include stress management, time management, interviewing skills, self-advocacy, studying abroad, selecting a major, and finding internships. Below is the workshop schedule for the Spring 2013 semester:
