Overview of International Students at CCNY

Welcome to the Office of International Student & Scholar Services.  Our office assists students and scholars who are not permanent residents of the U.S. with a variety of academic and counseling support services. We assist overseas citizens who are adapting to life in the U.S. while pursuing their education with items such as obtaining Social Security cards, employment permission, drivers licenses, bank accounts, foreign exchange permits, and military service deferrals. Professional counseling assistance is available for students with immigration concerns, or academic and personal difficulties.

The International Student Orientation Program is for all newly admitted international students in F1 student status.  Orientation is designed to help students learn about and understand important immigration regulations and procedures.  Orientation also serves to assist students in adjusting to life in a new country and to The City College of New York.

Attendance is mandatory if you are in New York City on that date.  Please confirm your attendance by emailing us at oisss@ccny.cuny.edu
