The City College Wellness and Counseling Center has Services for Veterans Returning veterans who are having difficulty managing intense reactions to their combat experiences and/or functioning in daily activities should contact the City College’s Wellness and Counseling Center (WCC) as it offers free and confidential psychological counseling services to CCNY students. Our counselors work with students experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, or any other concerns or problems that interfere with a student’s general well-being.

If a student wishes to make an appointment with a counselor, he/she may call to schedule an intake (212) 650-8222 or walk-in and schedule an appointment in person. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (evening hours are available by appointment). We are located in the Marshak Science Building, Room J-15.

The Wellness and Counseling Center works closely with the Office of Student Affairs to provide comprehensive, coordinated services to CCNY students. The goal of the WCC is to offer the support and services that will ease the transition of returning veterans to college life at CCNY and when necessary, to provide referrals to other campus resources, departments and community resources. Clinicians can help veterans identify, prioritize, implement strategies to address their specific concerns and challenges.
To learn more about the WCC and our services, please check out the CCNY WCC Web site:
