HEO Performance Evaluation and Reappointment
The 2011-2012 Performance Evaluation and Reappointment period is upon us.
Important points to remember:
Evaluation forms must be received by HR at least
two weeks before reappointment notification letters are issued. (See chart below.)
Reappointment notification and evaluation due dates
Due Date Reappointment
February 16, 2012 March 1, 2012
March 16, 2012 March 30,2012*
(since April 1, 2012 is a Sunday)
April 17, 2012 May 1, 2012
*Typically the notification date for employees in the 1st or 2nd reappointment is April 1st, however, April 1st falls on a Sunday this year so reappointment notification moves to March 30, 2012.
HR will again issue all HEO-series reappointment (and non-reappointment) letters.
Optional training sessions on Conducting and Writing Effective Performance Evaluations will be offered throughout the performance evaluation season.
